Khushbu Sundar has been nominated as a member of the National Commission for Women, a statutory body of the Government of India.
The National Commission for Women, which has been functioning since 1992, is a body that formulates policies related to the welfare of women and recommends them to the Government of India.
Sundar, a BJP national executive committee member, announced her appointment on social media. Celebrities and politicians congratulate Khushbu Sundar for being nominated as a National Commission for Women member.
