How To Delete Facebook Account Permanently From Mobile Phone?

Meta-owned Facebook allows deleting an account through its mobile app on Android and iOS or through a web browser. Facebook allows users to deactivate or even delete their accounts permanently. It also provides 30 days period for a change of mind. 

Facebook gives only 30 days to 'reverse' account deletion and all its posts and other information. Facebook takes 90 days to delete the particular account and all its information.

How To Delete Facebook Account Permanently?

Step 1: Open the Facebook application on your smartphone

Step 2: Click on the hamburger icon in the top right corner.

Step 3: Scroll down and click on Settings and Privacy and click on Settings.

Step 4:  Click on Personal and Account Information.

Step 5:  Click on Account Ownership and Control. If you have access to the page, click Profile Access and Control.

Step 6: Now click on Deactivation and Deletion

Step 7:  Select Delete Account and click 'Continue' to delete the account.

Step 8: Select one of the reasons displayed on the screen or click 'Continue' to delete the account

Step 9: Scroll down and select Delete Account. Your account will be deleted.

Kindly note that once your account has been deleted and the 30-day recovery period has passed, you will be unable to recover it or access any data you have posted. You will also lose access to Facebook Messenger and other apps that require your Facebook password credentials.
