Viduthalai Part 2 First Look To Release On July 17

The makers of Viduthalai 2 announced the first look of the anticipated movie starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori will be released on July 17 at 11.30 am. This news excited the fans as they are eagerly waiting to see the sequel which is expected to look into the character of Vijay Sethupathi.

Viduthalai Part 1, directed by Vetrimaaran, gained significant success with its gripping storyline. The film stars Soori in the lead role for the first time as a dedicated policeman. 

Vijay Sethupathi plays an important character named Vaathiyar, alongside Bhavani Sri, Chetan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Ilavarasu, Munnar Ramesh, and Saravana Subbiah in supporting roles.

The musical score for the film was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, adding another layer of appeal to the movie. Produced by Elred Kumar with co-producer V. Manikandan, the film garnered attention for its intense plot and strong performances.

Notably, the film will extensively feature scenes set in the 1960s, particularly focusing on the dynamic between Sethupathi's character and Manju Warrier, portraying his wife.

Viduthalai Part 1 Plot:

A police constable named Kumaresan, who is dedicated to his job, faces a moral dilemma when his department launches a harsh campaign to apprehend a local activist known as Vaathiyar, whose real name is Permual. 

Vaathiyar is fighting against those attempting to use the land for mining purposes. In the end, Kumaresan arrests Permual trying to solve the villager's misery as they were locked in a room, tortured, and raped, believing that it will resolve the issues.
