Vadakkupatti Ramasamy Tamil Full Movie Acting Santhanam Theatre Review

On its first release day, Santhanam's movie Vadakkupatti Ramasamy entertained family audiences. The movie is released in theatres today and receives an average response from youngsters but a good response from the family audience for its comedy scenes.

Vadakkupatti Ramasamy Movie Plot:

The film is set in 1974. The story begins in a small village called Vadakkupatti Ramasamy. The special feature of this village is that it is surrounded by water levels on all sides and a bridge is built only on one side to allow all the people to enter and exit the village. Although it is a small village, the population here is high. The following year, the village was affected by floods, and many changes occurred.

The people of the town believe that the guardian deity is protecting them. In this village comes a poor potter named Ramasamy with his mother. Both of them have lost their livelihood and are suffering a lot, and they make pots for survival. Then, a thief steals Ramasamy's pot. Some interesting things happen when it recovers.

Then Ramasamy discovers the faith people have in God and their superstitious beliefs. He took this as an advantage, and Ramasamy planned to cheat people with this belief and make money. In this situation, the Tahsildar comes to the town. Many interesting matters happened after the entry to Tahsildar. How long did Ramasamy make money? Did he get caught? What happened between the Ramasamy and Tahsildar is the rest of the story.

Vadakkupatti Ramasamy Movie Review:

All the characters have done justice to their roles. Since there are many comedians in the film few scenes hold too much of comedy which is a little disturbing in the plot. When we look into the other side of the film, background music and cinematography have given strength to the movie. 

The director has done a good job with a hilarious story. The film is said to be Santhanam's comeback after a long break. Santhanam has given an admiring performance with decent acting. The action scenes also worked well.

Vadakkupatti Ramasam is directed by Karthik Yogi. Dikkiloona movie which was released in 2021 was also directed by Karthik Yogi. The movie stars Santhanam, Megha Akash, Nizhalgal Ravi, M.S. Bhaskar, Maaran, Tamil, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, John Vijay, Ravi Mariya, Seshu, Suresh and Prasanth in the lead. Sean Roldan composed the music and Deepak handled the cinematography.
