Mari Selvaraj Vaazhai Gets OTT Release On October 11 In Hotstar

Vaazhai, directed by the acclaimed director Mari Selvaraj, is set to make its OTT debut on Disney+ Hotstar on October 11. After a successful theatrical run, the movie is now available for audiences who missed it on the big screen, offering them the opportunity to experience its powerful storytelling from the comfort of their homes.

Vaazhai is an exploration of rural life, focusing on the problems faced by a twelve-year-old boy, Sivanandhan, and his family. The film, set against the backdrop of a small village, uses the plantain tree (Vaazhai) as a potent symbol of strength and steadiness in the face of hardship.

Vaazhai was reportedly planned to be released on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar on September 27, but for some reason, the movie was not released on that day. Following this, Vaazhai is now set to be released on October 11 after a long wait for movie lovers.
