Thalapathy 64 Movie Update: Thalapathy Acting as an Alcoholic Professor

The yet to be titled film of Thalapathy Vijay, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has the latest update that Vijay will be playing a College Professor role who stands against bribe and corruption. Another source claimed that Vijay is acting as a drunken professor in this movie. This movie is about the unwrapped things on the educational mafia.
The shooting of this picture is currently ongoing at the Nation's Capital, Delhi. There has also been a slight interruption due to the excessive smog around the city. Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is playing the villain role for this movie, while Malavika Mohanan and Andrea Jeremiah are doing the female lead roles.
As per the latest sources, the movie is scheduled to wrap up in Mid-February to cope up with the initial release date of April 10, 2020, and continue with the post-production works. Meanwhile, the Vikram Vedha fame actor Prem Kumar has recently joined with Thalapathy 64 crew and also updated this information in his twitter handle.
Another surprise is that playback singer Soundarya Nandakumar has been roped in to play an important role in the movie. "The Script looks promising with each character has prominent roles in dealing with and working with Lokesh and Vijay sir is a 'Vera Level' experience," she added.
There has also been a buzz that there will be a gangster backdrop in the movie with captivating fight scenes and action sequences, which is a trademark concept in Lokesh Kanagaraj's movies. The Music is composed of Anirudh Ravichander, and Sathyan Sooryan does the Camera work, while the Editing is taken care of by Philomin Raj.
Sony Music India bears the Musical rights for the film. Other Notable stars such as Antony Varghese, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Sriman, Chetan, Sanjeev, Srinath, Alagam Perumal, Ramya Subramanian, and Gouri Kishan are playing the supporting roles in the movie.
