Thalapathy 64, Thala 60, Suriya 38: Strange Coincidence of the New Age Directors

The upcoming line-up for star heroes of Kollywood looks promising and the way projects are shaping with new age directors. Thalapathy 64 of actor Vijay, Thala 60 of Ajith and Soorarai Pottru (Suriya 38) of Suriya Sivakumar are all packed with the makers who had some fantastic debut outing recently. Also, there is a strange coincidence between these combos know about it at the end of the article.

Thalapathy 64:

While Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film with Atlee (Thalapathy 63) is shaping up in a grand manner, the updates for the up next project of Vijay has sparked the fire in Kollywood circle. Fans are eagerly waiting to see a terrific combo of director Lokesh Kanagaraj who made a promising debut with Maanagaram. According to sources, the maker has recently met Vijay and narrated an action based script for his which is expected to start end of this year.

Thala 60:

Thala 60 is definitely one which is to be looked forward by Indian cinema fans as it is said to be one of the biggest pan Indian cinema made in recent times. As per Boney Kapoor's recent media interactions, the producer is planning to make a multilingual film in Hindi with Thala Ajith based on Racing. While Ner Konda Paarvai (Pink Remake) is going on a roll, the same director H.Vinoth is expected to be making a grand racing film with Ajith Kumar and it is said to be made in multiple languages.

Suriya 38 (Soorarai Pottru):

Suriya who is working in back to back projects after NGK, Kaappaan is his next film releasing worldwide. The actor is currently shooting for the film based on Aircraft under the direction of Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara. It is definitely one of the most promising combos ever for the actor as unadulterated stuff is looked forward from the young and fresh team along with star actor Suriya. Suriya 38 officially titled as Soorarai Pottru is expected to be hitting screens by the end of this year.

Interesting Coincidence:

The unnoticed coincidence factor between all these biggie projects is that the directors who are joining these biggies are marking their third film simultaneously. Lokesh Kanagaraj who made his debut film Managaram and currently doing his film with Karthi (Kaithi) is joining with Vijay up next. H. Vinoth who debuted with Sathuranga Vettai and gave a high octane Theeran is working on his third film with Thala Ajith. Filmmaker Sudha Kongara is also working on her third project Soorarai Pottru after Dhrohi and Irudhi Suttru, in which Suriya is playing a pilot/captain in the Aircraft based film.
