Irfan has stuck in another controversy following his recent video of his wife's delivery process. When the baby was born, Irfan went to the delivery room, cut the baby's umbilical cord, took a video of it and posted it on his YouTube channel. This has now sparked a huge controversy, and the debate is on social media.

Irfan, a famous YouTuber, gained attention through his food vlogs and later garnered more attention through his celebrity interviews. A few months ago, Irfan faced the case following his gender reveal party, and later, he confessed to his action. In that video, he said that gender reveal was legal in several countries, including Dubai, to conduct this test.

While Irrfan's involvement in such controversies is a topic of conversation, Health Minister M. Subramanian has spoken about this. The minister participated in the inauguration of a new CATH lab and medical equipment at the Rajaji Government Hospital in Madurai at a cost of Rs 9.90 crore and a public health laboratory at the Usilampatti Government District Head Hospital, followed by a press conference.

When a question was asked about Irfan, he said, "While there is a law that does not say whether the child in the fetus is a boy or a girl, he went to Dubai last year and found out. We sent a notice to take action against him as soon as we got the information. Later, he regretted it and apologized.

In this case, he was cutting the umbilical cord of his child. This is a reprehensible act. It is a violation of the National Medical Commission Act 2021, Section 34, Section 1,2, for a non-physician to enter the operating room and cut the umbilical cord.

A notice has been issued to take action against the violators of the Medical Act. A complaint has been lodged at Semmancheri police station to take action against him.

Apart from him, a complaint has also been filed against Rainbow Private Hospital, Niveditha, the lady doctor. We have also given a notice to the Medical Council to ban Niveditha from practising medicine. Appropriate legal and departmental action is being taken. If Irrfan's finding out the gender of the child had happened in our town and not in Dubai, we would have shut down the respective concerned," he said.

Minister Subramanian clearly stated, “What Irfan has done is unforgivable. Releasing a video of cutting the baby’s umbilical cord is highly inappropriate. It is not an act that can be pardoned. Even though Irfan has apologized, we will not let it go. The law and the relevant authorities will take the necessary action.”
