Sri Reddy Calls Vishal Abusive And Fraud, Actor Faces Criticism

Vishal addressed the ongoing sexual harassment in the cinema industry on August 29 and encouraged women to hit people with slippers for misbehaving with them. After the interview was released, actress Sri Reddy slammed Vishal and called him abusive and fraud.

Vishal is a Tamil actor known for his roles in movies such as Chellamae (2004), Sandakozhi (2005), Thaamirabharani (2007), and Aambala (2015) among others. He celebrated his 47th birthday with a visit to the Nadigar Sangam (Tamil Film Actors' Association), where he also serves as General Secretary and expressed his thoughts on the recent sexual harassment issue that happening in the Malayalam movie industry.

During a press event, Vishal addressed the issue of sexual harassment in the cinema industry and encouraged women to fight back against such behavior. He suggested that those who seek inappropriate "adjustments" should be physically reprimanded, saying, "Anyone who approaches for 'adjustments' should be beaten with chappal."

In the press event, he also addressed these concerns, Vishal announced plans to establish a special committee of ten members to investigate harassment complaints and ensure a transparent report. His proactive approach has garnered attention and support from various quarters.
Sri Reddy’s Reaction on X:
After witnessing the interview, controversial actress Sri Reddy took to Twitter to criticize Vishal’s statements and accused him of being abusive and fraudulent. In an offensive post, she wrote, "Hi Mr. Womanizer and white-haired very old uncle, when you are talking about a woman, I think your tongue should be very careful in front of the media."
Sri Reddy further blamed Vishal’s use of degrading language and his history of problematic behavior with women. She added, "The way you use filthy language about a lady, the way you create problems for good people, everyone knows. You are an all-time fraud. The world knows you are a huge fraud."
She also questioned the personal aspects of Vishal’s life, including why every woman he has been involved with has left him and the cancellation of his engagement.
Concluding her post, Sri Reddy dismissed Vishal’s position in any organization as irrelevant, warning him that "karma" is at work and even offering him a collection of chappals, suggesting her readiness to confront him directly.
While Vishal advocates for women's safety measures in the Tamil film industry and calls for a model similar to the Hema Committee, Sri Reddy’s Twitter post has kindled significant debate and curiosity among the public.
