Soundariya Shares Her Toxic Relationship In Bigg Boss Tamil 8

Bigg Boss Tamil 8, contestant Soundarya Nanjundan shared the painful details of an abusive relationship she endured during her school and college days. Her story quickly went viral on social media, sparking widespread concern and empathy.

Soundarya, while talking to fellow Bigg Boss contestants VJ Vishal, Jeffry, Arun, and Muthukumaran, opened up about her past love affair, which lasted from her 11th standard to her college days. 

When asked why the relationship ended, she revealed that her ex-boyfriend did not support her passion for modeling and that it became a source of constant tension between them.

To avoid conflicts, Soundarya said she would hide her modeling photos on her phone, but eventually, he discovered them. His reaction was violent. She said, he once used a sauce bottle to hit her.

She recounted how he would beat her and yell at her in public for her clothing choices and her passion for modeling, even criticizing her dressing style in front of friends.

Soundariya continued that he was studying Marine Engineering at the time and had a "short temper", which led to multiple instances of physical abuse, she claimed she was beaten 4 to 5 times before she finally decided to end the relationship.

Soundarya revealed that she tolerated the abuse for a long time, in the name of love, and that her family was unaware of the situation. The revelation concerned many viewers, especially as it shed light on how women often endure physical and emotional abuse in the name of love, sometimes even hiding it from their families.

Her courage to speak out on such a sensitive issue is an important reminder that toxic relationships should not be tolerated. It encourages those facing similar situations to find the strength to speak up and seek help.
