Soorarai Pottru Amazon Prime release Postponed; Is the Delay is for Theatrical Release?

The release is said to be postponed for Suriya's Soorarai Pottru film. Meanwhile, actor Surya has announced that the film will be released on Amazon Prime on October 30th. 

Suriya being a leading Tamil hero's film, the release in the OTT platform announcement itself caused a stir. This was strongly opposed by distributors and theater executives amidst CoVid.

In this case, Soorarai Pottru released by Amazon does not feature in this month's release list. When inquired about this, the film is centered on the life of GR Gopinath, who created budget air travel in India.

Thus, approval from the Indian Air Force is required. The crew has been waiting for this for the past few months. If it is available, the film will be released on Amazon on the 30th. If delayed, the release will be postponed.

Both the film crew and Amazon Prime have not yet started the promotional activities with only ten days remaining. Suriya Sivakumar, Aparna Balamurali, Jackie Shroff, Karunas, and Telugu actor Mohan Babu are in the lead roles. 

GV Prakash composed the music for the film. The film is produced by Surya's 2D Entertainment in association with Sikhya Entertainment. 

Moreover, sources reveal that if the Indian Air Force fails to approve before October 25th, Amazon Prime will undoubtedly postpone the release date of Sudha Kongara's directorial film Soorarai Pottru since the platform needs at least a week to promote a movie and hurrying is not their kind.
