Raghava Lawrence Filed Complaint Against Fraud Fund Risers in His Name

Raghava Lawrence's name misused to collect money fraudulently.

Complaint on behalf of multiple film personality and social activist Raghava Lawrence has been filed with the Commissioner of Chennai police on 27 November. It is against using his name for a fraudulent collection of money in different parts of the state.

Actor Raghava Lawrence had a brain tumor at an early age, and it was cured later. Believing it is due to the blessings of lord Ragavendra, he changed his name to Raghava Lawrence. He worked as a car cleaner and then started his film career as a stunt man under master Super Subburayan. Rajnikanth, on seeing his dancing abilities on the sets, joined him to the dancers' union. Then he was recognized by the megastar Chiranjeevi and started choreographing his songs. Chiranjeevi dance movements are still the craze among Telugu people. Then he went on to make Tamil movies and now is directing and acting as hero in successful Tamil films.

The other part of Raghava is that he is helping a lot of needy children by his trust called Raghava Lawrence People Welfare Trust. Many poor students are studying staying in his support in and around Chennai. He also donated Rs. 1 crore to Ananda Vikatan's program for helping the needy ones in Tamil Nadu.

Now J.Shankar, secretary of his trust, has approached the commissioner of Chennai police on 27 November, to file a complaint. There are lakhs of rupees collected by his name on social media. It was in Ooty, Salem, Bengaluru, Chennai, and many more places, and there is enough proof in the social media of misusing his name to cheat people. Also, houses were promised to be given by him for the money received. Fearing people to be not fooled by such fraudsters and stop further fraudulent money collection, this complaint has been filed.

There are only a few people like Raghava to help innocent needy children for a long time now. People go to standards of using his name to cheat people is alarming even to think.
