In response, Manimegalai created a satirical video on her YouTube channel, "Hussain Manimegalai," over the issue.

Manimegalai and her husband Hussain made a video to celebrate their milestone of reaching 2 million followers. In the video, Manimegalai and  Hussain took a satirical approach to the ongoing controversy surrounding the Cooku With Comali celebrities interviews.

As the couple delved into the various celebrity opinions on the matter, Manimegalai forewent from naming anyone directly. However, viewers speculated that her comments were aimed at Kureshi, and Sunita who addressed the situation in his video, and Shakila, who brought it up during an interview. 

In this case, she also tried to clear the allegations that were made against her suggesting she was exaggerating the drama for publicity. She mentioned the issue lightly as scripted and a "PR Stunt".
