Nowadays, watching movies in Ott platform apps like Netflix, Aha, Amazon Prime, and Disney Plus Hotstar is as good as watching movies in theatres. Last week, Ott movies and series got above-average reviews from the viewers. This week Ott released movies and web series that are listed below and are expected to receive a good response, especially Hot Spot.

Thalaimai Seyalagam - Zee5:

Thalaimai Seyalagam is a political thriller series that is set to release on May 17 on the Ott platform app Zee5. The series delves into themes like corruption, manipulation, money, family, truth, and loyalty. 

The story revolves around the chief minister who was under investigation for Corruption. During his time of investigation, the police get to know the shocking details of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister of the state was involved in murders that happened in Chennai, and in Jharkhand left the police in shock. Will the police be able to bring punishment to the Chief Minister's crime? Will the justice be reserved right in this case? 

Thalaimai Seyalagam with a well-known cast expected to offer a compelling narrative, and strong performances and resonate well with its audience.

Thalaimai Seyalagam Cast And Crew:

The Star-Cuddled cast includes Kishore, Sriya Reddy, Bharath, Ramya Nambessan, Aditya Menon, Kani Kusruti, Niroop Nandakumar, Darsha Gupta, Sarah Black, Siddharth Vipin, YGM, Santhana Bharathi, and Kavitha Bharathi. The Series was written and directed by G. Vasanthabalan and produced by Radikaa Sarathkumar, and R. Sarathkumar. The music was composed by Ghibran.

Other than, Thalaimai Seyalagam, there are films released focusing on Politics as a theme. Theatrical movies Election and Uyir Thamizhukku are Political movies that also try to focus on the same theme. Will Thalaimai Seyalagam be able to get better critical acclaim than the other two movies?

Hot Spot - Aha:

Hot Spot is a Tamil movie that is set to release on the Ott platform on May 17 in Aha Tamil. Hot Spot. The movie trailer created a lot of criticism in the media which turned into both a promotion and a de-promotion for the movie. 

Even though the movie was not a commercial success, Hot Spot has gained better ratings from critics and audiences. The movie shows a director revealing four stories to the producer. The four stories present the audience with different love stories.

The movie stands for the proverb, "Don't judge a book by its cover". The trailer indicates several 18+ dialogues in it but the story delivered a good message to the viewers while watching the whole film. 

The movie Hot Spot was written by 'Yours Shamelessly' short film director Vignesh which also gives the viewers a different idea through the trailer but in the film delivers a good message.

Hot Spot film starring Kalaiyarasan, Sofia, Sandy, Ammu Abhirami, Janani, Subash, Gouri G Kishan, and Adithya  Bhaskar. The movie was written and directed by Vignesh Karthick. The movie was produced by Balamanimarbhan K J, Suresh Kumar, and Gokul Benoy. The music for the movie was composed by Satish Raghunathan and Vaan.

Baahubali: Crown of Blood - Disney Plus Hotstar:

Baahubali: Crown of Blood is a franchise of Baahubali movies and it will be released on May 17. Disney Plus Hotstar has owned the streaming rights for the animated version of the Baahubali series. The series falls under the adventure and fantasy genre following the story of Baahubali.

The trailer shows the imaginable kingdom of Mahishmata and further gives the details of the kingdom, crown, and war. The series used the same place and the same characters in the Baahubali movie version. In Addition to this, the trailer gives the famous Kattappa betrayal in the anime version too.

Baahubali: Crown of Blood trailer released gets mixed reviews from the audiences. The story of the 'Crown of Blood' will be different from the Baahubali movie. The series visuals are good and the characters are identifiable and have similar costumes as in the original version.

Some fans are not satisfied with the animations as they expect more from the team. The voice in the cartoon version was not pleased as people were used to the original version's voice.

Baahubali is a commercial success with its two movies earning more than twenty-four billion. Fans are excited to watch the anime version of the Baahubali.

Other OTT Release Movies:

Nadikar and Aranmanai 4's movies released in theatres got positive reviews from the fans. It is rumored that the teams are in talks for the Ott platform release. There is no official announcement regarding this. Like many other movies, it's said that the movies will be released on the Ott platform apps one month after their theatrical premiere.
