Oscars 2024: Oppenheimer Bags 7 Awards Cillian Murphy Wins Best Actor

The 96th Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The movie Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan, won seven Oscars.

Oppenheimer won four awards, including Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Editing and Best Supporting Actor. It also won the Best Actor award. Cillian Murphy, who played the lead role in Oppenheimer, received this actor award. 

Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan also won the Best Director award. It also won the Best Film award. It has won an astounding seven awards in total.
