Rumors about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been confirmed with their engagement on August 9 at Chaitanya's residence in Hyderabad. The news, along with photos of the couple in their engagement attire, went viral after actor Nagarjuna, Chaitanya's father, shared the joyous moment on social media.

The engagement ceremony was held at Nagarjuna’s luxurious home in Hyderabad's upscale Jubilee Hills. The private function was attended by included Nagarjuna’s wife, Amala Akkineni, Chaitanya’s brother, Akhil, and Sobhita Dhulipala’s parents.

Nagarjuna expressed his happiness in a post, writing, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m. We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Chaitanya was previously married to Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and mutually separated in 2021.
