Merry Christmas Movie Starring Vijay Sethupathi Katrina Kaif Review

Merry Christmas, the first Hindi film with Vijay Sethupathi as the hero, has been released in theatres today. This movie has gathered a good response from the audience so far.

Merry Christmas Movie Plot:

Albert (Vijay Sethupathi) returns to his home in Mumbai after seven years in prison after murdering his girlfriend. As it is Christmas day, he goes to a nearby bar. In this situation, he meets Katrina Kaif along with her baby. They both have a date that night.

Katrina Kaif takes Vijay Sethupathi to her house, where her husband is found dead mysteriously. Who killed him? Who is Vijay Sethupathi? What happened to Albert and Maria after that incident? The story moves interestingly around that. Merry Christmas has now turned out to be a good Indian thriller film.

Merry Christmas Movie Review:

Vijay Sethupathi nails the role of Albert with his realistic acting and dialogue delivery. Even with limited dialogues, his facial expressions have garnered a fan following. Katrina Kaif takes on a new role as Maria, and the chemistry between her and Vijay Sethupathi adds significant strength to the film.

Sriram Raghavan meets fan expectations by delivering unexpected twists and well-fitting comedy in the story. While the first half takes its time to unfold, the second half becomes more captivating. The climax scene, in particular, stands out and carries the entire film. Despite a few logical mistakes, the screenplay moved well.
