Manimegalai Vs Priyanka Issue: Vijay Tv Celebrities Support To?

The most-loved TV show Cook With Comali has recently been at the center of controversy following a fight between the anchors Manimegalai and Priyanka Deshpande. 

Cooku With Comali is one of the most popular TV shows in the Tamil entertainment industry, received even more popularity than Bigg Boss. However, the Cooku With Comali Season 5 has faced significant criticism since its launch with the departure of Chef Venkatesh Bhat.

The CWC show was often referred as the "stress buster," but now it has started to create tensions among fans as they split into two with some supporting Priyanka and some supporting Manimegalai.\

Manimegalai vs. Priyanka:

Manimegalai, a former Comali who joined Cook With Comali as an anchor in Season 5, has recently walked out from the show, leaving her fans disappointed. To clarify the fans she made a video detailing her clashes with Priyanka Deshpande, claiming that Priyanka frequently interrupted her during episodes.

In a clarification video, Manimegalai expressed that she values her self-respect above all and that this was a key factor in her decision to step back from the show.

What Happened In the CWC Set?

The tension between Manimegalai and Priyanka Deshpande reportedly escalated during the week of Dhivya Dhuraisamy's elimination. During Dhivya's farewell speech, she praised Priyanka, which prompted Priyanka to respond positively. 

According to rumors, Manimegalai does not recieve the situation well because it's her role as an anchor to deliver the speech and Manimegalai ends up creating a scene on the set. Then, Manimegalai’s refusal to formally address the issue further complicated matters, which led to her decision to withdraw from the show.

This version of the story came from YouTubers so some are not ready to believe the issue and support Manimegalai while some believe it and support Priyanka.

Kureshi's Response:

Kureshi, a popular figure from Cook With Comali, initially extended his good wishes to Manimegalai in a comment on her post. However, after receiving backlash from fans who analyzed his words as favoritism towards Priyanka, Kureshi deleted the comment and later posted a clarification video. 

In it, he stressed that he wasn’t taking sides and recounted the events as they unfolded. Kureshi criticized the decision to involve personal lives in the controversy and advocated for resolving issues through direct communication rather than public disputes.

Pugazh Response:

As the controversy got bigger and bigger, the media started questioning the Cooku With Comali figures. In this case, Pugazh recently addressed the issue to the press while they questioned him. He answered them that  Manimegalai and Priyanka would address the issue themselves and showed no interest in answering the question.
