Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8: STR To Host As Kamal Haasan Quits?

Kamal Haasan has officially announced that he will not be hosting the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Tamil. In a heartfelt notice released on August 6. He shared his decision to step away from the show, mentioning earlier cinematic commitments as the reason for his departure.

Kaman Haasan released a notice on August 6 on his X account, mentioning that he will not be part of the upcoming Tamil Bigg Boss Season 8. Kamal, a Tamil lead movie star, has been the face of Bigg Boss Tamil since its beginning in 2017 and has hosted the show through its seven successful seasons. 

In his note, he expressed his deep appreciation for the audience’s support, “Dear Viewers, With a heavy heart, I wish to inform you that I will be taking a brief hiatus from the journey we started together seven years ago. Due to prior cinematic engagements, I will be unable to host the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Tamil.”

He continued, that the Bigg Boss has been a privilege to connect with people through the screens and appreciated the love he received throughout the show. 

Kamal concluded his note with gratitude, saying, “Personally, being your host has been an enriching association, where I have honestly shared my learnings. I will always be grateful for this learning experience...I am sure this season will be yet another success"

Bigg Boss Season 8 Host:

Following the announcement, speculation has arisen regarding the new host for Bigg  Boss Season 8. Fans are particularly hopeful that Silambarasan T.R. (Simbu), who previously hosted Bigg Boss Ultimate during Haasan’s filming for Vikram, might step in. 

Despite the sadness surrounding Kamal Haasan’s departure, there is false excitement about the actor Simbu taking over as host for the upcoming season. There is no official information regarding this. On the other hand, Bigg  Boss fans are eagerly waiting to know who will be the host for Bigg Boss Season 8.
