July 5 2024 Tamil Theatre Movie Release List

July month welcomes the audience with different genres of movies. The most anticipated movies released out of this week's release are 7G and Despicable Me 4. 

June month delivers fantastic movies like Garudan, Maharaja, and Kalki 2898 AD. Last week, released Kalki 2898 AD is a blockbuster hit with its intriguing story plot.

Emagathagan:

Emagadhagan, an upcoming Tamil drama slated for release on July 5th. The movie unfolds in a cursed village where residents struggle to liberate themselves from a malevolent curse. The narrative follows their desperate attempts to escape the Blackmagic through a ritual, aiming to end the village's suffering.

Amidst internal conflicts and external pressures, villagers make independent decisions, often excluding persons who challenge the community's unity. They made decisions without involving authorities like the police or courts.

In the face of uncertainty and adversity, the film poses a central question, will they be able to break free from the curse? will be the main plot of the story.

Emagadhagan Cast And Crew:

The cast of Emagadhagan includes Vattakara Sathish, Karthik Sriram, Manoj, and Rashmitha. The movie was directed by Kishan Raj, with music by Vignesh Raja,  and it was produced by Krishnamani under Prime Reels Pictures.

7G:

7G is an upcoming horror Tamil movie that is set to release in theatres on July 5. The movie is set in apartments where the place is haunted, especially in the particular flat 7G.

The 7G trailer introduces a mother and a boy who moved into their new flat and indicates the use of black magic in the movie. The trailer seems to suggest a strong narrative centered around a mother trying to protect her child from demonic forces, which often makes for a gripping horror story.

7G Cast And Crew:

The movie cast includes Sonia Agarwal, Smruthi Venkat, Siddharth Vipin, Sneha Gupta, Subramaniam Siva, and Kalkiraja with the direction and production of Haroon under the banner Dream House. The music for the 7G is composed by Siddharth Vipin.

Koundam Paalayam:

Koundam Paalayam is a Tamil film set to hit theaters on July 5th. It Falls under the genre of romantic action, it promises to explore diverse aspects of love.

The storyline delves into a poignant tale of love and deception unfolding in a rural village setting. The trailer portrays the challenges faced by a family, shedding light on the unsettling reality of people preying on rich young women.

However, the film has sparked significant controversy due to its blunt exploration of caste-related issues, as depicted in the trailer.

Koundam Paalayam Cast And Crew:

The movie Koundam Paalayam includes Ranjith, Albia, Iman Annachi, Suji, Palaniswami, S. Subramaniam, Durai Mahesh, Kongu Manjunathan, Sounder, Lavanya, and Pravin. The movie is directed by Ranjith himself and the music composer for the film is Vijay Shankar.

Despicable Me 4 (Tamil Dubbed):

Despicable Me returns with its highly anticipated fourth installment and Indian audiences can catch the excitement when the movie hits theaters on July 5th. Despicable Me 4 promises an exhilarating blend of non-stop action and Illumination’s trademark irreverent humor.

The star-studded cast of Despicable Me 4 includes Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Pierre Coffin, Joey King, Sofia Vergara, Stephen Colbert, Miranda Cosgrove, Chloe Fineman, Steve Coogan, Chris Renaud, Dana Gaier, and Madison Polan.

The film is directed by Oscar nominee Chris Renaud, co-creator of the Minions, and co-directed by Patrick Delage. It is produced by Chris Meledandri and Brett Hoffman.

Naanum Oru Azhagi:

Naanum Oru Azhagi movie is set in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu and the movie revolves around Krishnamma. The movie is set to release in theatres on July 5. The movie plot is Krishnamma attended tuition classes with Pozhikarayan, whom she admired. However, when Pozhikarayan departs for work, Krishnamma marries Duraipandi. 

Duraipandi sends her back to her parents' home, due to infertility issues,  Krishnamma subsequently begins a relationship with Pozhikarayan and becomes pregnant. The question remains will Duraipandi let Krishnamma and her child live?

Naanum Oru Azhagi Cast And Crew:

The movie cast features Arun and Megna. The movie's director, producer, musician, lyricist, and writer is Pozhikkarayan.

Theradi:

Theradi is an upcoming Tamil drama expected to release in theatres on July 5th. The film explores the love story of a village couple from the same caste, and shows their lives and relationships.

Poomara Kaathu:

Poomara Kaathu is an upcoming Tamil drama expected to release on July 5th. The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of school life, capturing the challenges and emotions faced by young students as they navigate the complexities of love at a tender age.
