Hitlist (2024) Review: Sarath Kumar and Vijay Kanishka Leads

Hitlist, a crime -thriller movie released in theatres today, May 31, and it is receiving moderate reviews from the viewers. The first show viewers say it's an edge seating movie with a decent storyline.

Hitlist Movie Plot:

The Hitlist movie introduces a lovely family consisting of a mother, son, and daughter. The hero's life revolves around his family, and he is content and happy with his life. In this movie, the hero is described as a person who does not like violence and wants to live a peaceful life.

However, the situation takes a tragic turn when a masked man kidnaps his family and encourages the hero to carry out reckless tasks. Will the hero be able to rescue his family? Who is the masked man threatening him, and what is the reason for his misfortunate situation?

The movie Hitlist outlines the controversial NEET exam topic which shows their stand on their issue. The topic was not forced into the movie but beautifully flowed with the plot.

Hitlist blends emotions and actions in a correct way to attract the audience. The second part of the film brings the emotional side and gives the audience a clear view of the story.

The actors Sarath Kumar and Gautham Vasudev Menon delivered amazing performances in the movie. All the actors portrayed their roles convincingly. The background music in the climax was excellent and the unexpected twist in the climax made the movie an effective watch.

Hitlist Negative Reviews:

The movie reminds the Hollywood movie Saw and its franchise. If the person already watched the Saw movie and its franchise, then the Hitlist plot is easily predictable and ruins the surprises the movie had.

The movie's background music (BGM) was lacking in some areas and did not live up to the hype of the trailer. The antagonist's masked man could have been more menacing, as in some scenes, his appearance did not pose a threat to the audience.
