"Dragon," directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, is a vibrant addition to Tamil cinema, blending humour, drama, and poignant life lessons. The film centres on D. Raghavan, nicknamed "Dragon," a lead role by Pradeep Ranganathan.

Raghavan is a typical middle-class college student who prioritizes fun over academics, leading to a staggering 48 arrear papers.

The plot takes a turn when Raghavan's girlfriend, Keerthy (Anupama Parameswaran), leaves him due to his academic failures, choosing a more successful partner.

Determined to prove his worth, Raghavan resorts to obtaining a fake degree, which propels him into corporate success under the mentorship of his boss, played by Gautham Vasudev Menon. However, his past catches up with him when his college principal, portrayed by Mysskin, unexpectedly reappears in his life.

Marimuthu's direction shines in balancing lighthearted moments with deeper themes, such as the ethical implications of dishonesty and the sacrifices parents make for their children's education.

The chemistry between Ranganathan and Anupama Parameswaran adds depth to the narrative, while Mysskin's role as the principled yet compassionate principal provides a compelling counterbalance to Raghavan's antics.

Leon James' musical composition enhances the film's youthful energy, with tracks that resonate well with the audience. Niketh Bommireddy's cinematography captures the essence of college life and the emotional turmoil of the characters, adding a visual richness to the storytelling.
