Diwali Release Movie Sardar Starring Karthi Beats Prince? Box Office

Following the success of Viruman and Ponniyin Selvan, actor Karthi gave another hit movie Sardar on the occasion of Diwali. In this case, this film has earned 47 crores worldwide in 4 days.

Sardar was directed by P. S. Mithran and produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures. The film stars Karthi, Raashii Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Chunky Panday, Laila, Rithvik and Munishkanth in prominent roles. Sardar music was composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography done by George C. Williams and editing by Ruben. 

Sardar has collected 34 crore rupees in Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan starrer 'Prince' has collected Rs 32 crores in 4 days. It has collected 24 crore rupees in Tamil Nadu alone. It is guessed that the collection might decline in the upcoming days as the Diwali holidays end and the public begins their daily life.
