For Diwali 2024, the most anticipated movies are scheduled to be released on the OTT platform. The movies include Meiyazhagan, Lubber Pandhu, and Thangalaan.

Meiyazhagan - Netflix:

Meiyazhagan is a beautiful story that portrays the simplicity and life surrounding love and affection released in theatres on September 27 and received positive reviews from the fans. Meiyazhagan is now set to release on the OTT platform Netflix on  October 25, a month from its theatrical release. 

Meiyazhan Plot:

Meiyazhagan tells the story of Arumozhi Varman, who returns to his hometown after 22 years to attend a wedding. There, he meets an innocent character who becomes the key reason for Arumozhi’s transformation in life. 

As their bond deepens, the movie explores how this reunion shifts Arumozhi's life, leading to a conflict with his past and the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

Meiyazhan Cast And Crew:

Meiyazhagan boasts a talented cast including Karthi, Arvind Swamy, Rajkiran, and Sri Divya. It is written and directed by C. Prem Kumar, with music composed by Govind Vasantha. The film is produced by Jyotika and Suriya.

Lubber Pandhu - Disney Plus Hotstar:

A recent favorite movie among people, Lubber Pandhu released in theatres on September 20 is now set for OTT platform premium from October 31 at Disney Plus Hotstar.

Lubber Pandhu Plot:

Lubber Pandhu follows the lives of two highly skilled local cricket players who despise each other. However, when Anbu falls for Gethu's daughter, their paths become inevitably intertwined. This budding romance sparks a fierce clash, both on the field and in their emotions. What happens next? is the core of this story.

Lubber Pandhu Cast And Crew:

Lubber Pandhu stars Harish Kalyan, Attakathi Dinesh, Swaswika, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Kaali Venkat, Bala Saravanan, Geetha Kailasham, Deva Dharshini, Jenson Divakar, and TSK. It was directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, with music composed by Sean Rolden. Lubber Pandhu was produced by S. Lakshman Kumar and co-produced by A. Venkatesh.

Thangalaan - Netflix:

Thangalaan movie released on August 15, for some reason, delayed the OTT premium and is now finally confirmed set for a Diwali release on Netflix from October 31. 

Thangalaan Plot:

Thangalaan, meaning Son of Gold, is inspired by the real-life events of the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) and the community's fight to defend their land from British colonizers.

The movie centers around a daring mission to protect the valuable gold reserves and explores themes of ambition, rivalry, and the relentless pursuit of power. Will Thangalaan succeed in saving the KGF from the British? is the rest of the story.

Thangalaan features a stellar cast including Chiyaan Vikram, Parvathy, and Malavika Mohanan, with direction by Pa Ranjith. The movie is produced by K.E. Gnanavelraja, Jyoti Deshpande, and Neha Gnanavelraja, with music composed by G.V. Prakash
