Ilayaraja's daughter and singer Bhavatharini passed away at the age of 47 due to Cancer. She was receiving Ayurvedic treatment in Sri Lanka.
Famous Music director Ilaiyaraaja's daughter and singer Bhavatharini passed away today. It is reported that Bhavatharini, who has been suffering from Cancer for the past five months, was undergoing Ayurvedic treatment in Sri Lanka. Due to Sudden Cardiac Arrest, she passed away today.
Bhavatharini Raja marked her singing debut with the hit song in the film Raasaiya. Following her initial success, she continued to contribute vocals to albums composed by her father and brothers. Additionally, she has collaborated with composers Deva and Sirpy for various songs.
Her notable achievement came in 2001 when she clinched the National Award for her rendition of the song "Mayil Pola Ponnu Onnu" in the movie Bharathi. Her death is a huge loss to the Tamil film industry. Bhavatharini has a special fan base for his voice. Her fans and celebrities are posting condolences on her social media pages.
