Bigg Boss Tamil 8: Soundariya And VJ Vishal To Swap The Teams

The weekend episodes of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 concluded with the expected eviction of Dharsha Gupta from the house. This week, Muthukumaran emerged as the captain winning the captaincy task with VJ Vishal and Soundariya.

Host Vijay Sethupathi had some pointed critiques for the contestants during the weekend episodes, particularly regarding their performances in the Killer Coin tasks. He said the boy's team is not showcasing individual talent, as they are relying too heavily on Muthukumaran.

Vijay Sethupathi discussed the "groupism" between girls team inside the house and talked about the tasks of appreciating and condemning contestants for their flaws. As expected, Dharsha Gupta was evicted from the house at the end of the episodes.

Later, Vijay introduced a task that replicated the hotel theme from the previous week, where contestants had the chance to assign tags Manager, Consumer, and Service to their fellow housemates. In this case, Muthukumaran, Arun, Sunita, Jacqueline, and Anshida received the most tags.

As the episode progressed, Vijay announced the contestants who were safe for the week, ultimately revealing that Dharsha Gupta had been eliminated. 

Dharsha Eviction was met with an emotional reaction from Sachana, who expressed her frustrations over the previous week’s nomination dynamics, particularly regarding the refusal of the other women to grant her a nomination-free pass.

In her exit, Dharsha took the opportunity to confront the six women who she felt dominated the game, adding a layer of drama to her departure.

Muthukumaran's Leadership:

Muthukumaran is one of the strongest contestants in the Bigg Boss Tamil 8. He seems to be the mastermind behind the boy's team strategies and ideas. In this situation, for this week Muthukumaran was secured as the captain. 

This week's swap is expected to be between VJ Vishal and Soundariya. Big Boss viewers are eager to see how Muthukumaran performs as captain, given his past influence on the boys' team. The main question in the viewer's minds is whether he will remain neutral as a captain.
