Tharshika, a classical dancer, and actress, has made her much-anticipated entry as a contestant in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8. Tharsika is known for her antagonist role in the Vijay TV Series.

Tharshika debuted as a supporting role in a Tamil serial. Then she started playing negative roles in Vijay TV serials which gained attention for her roles in Thendral Vanthu Ennai Thodum and Ponni.
