Baahubali 3 Update: Director Rajamouli In Talks With Prabhas

S.S Rajamouli, director of the movie Bahubali, decided to release a different story of Bahubali on May 17 at Disney Plus Hotstar. The animated version of the movie is titled "Baahubali: Crown of Blood". The movie announcement was held in Hyderabad, and there, Rajamouli hints about Bahubali 3.

S.S Rajamouli in the announcement meeting held in Hyderabad, said that he has an idea for Baahubali 3 and adds Baahubali will always be in his mind. The director continues that the movie was planned to happen after the release of RRR and then breaks the news that he is in talks with Prabhas for the third 3, which makes the fans excited.

Baahubali 3 Rumors:

Baahubali 3 was always in the discussion around cinema and social media. One of the famous rumours is that Baahubali is coming up with a prequel, and Nayanthara will play a young Sivagami. This rumour went viral on social media for a while.

The Baahubali director S.S Rajamouli announced his idea of releasing the cartoon version of the Baahubali film and he wrote on his X account on April 30 quote," When the people of Mahishmati chant his name, no force in the universe can stop him from returning.  Baahubali: Crown of Blood, an animated series trailer, arrives soon!" and fans were excited over the news and wishes the team.

After the director's announcement, fans of the movie buzzed the movie team for the update and release date. In this case, the Baahubali: Crown of Blood trailer video was released on May 6.

Similarities:

The trailer opens to the viewers showing the utopian kingdom of  Mahishmata and further details of the kingdom, crown, and war. The movie is set in the same place and the same characters in the Baahubali 1 and 2 movies are presented in the anime. Adding to this, the trailer gives the famous Kattappa betrayal in the anime version too.

Differences:

The additional involvement in the trailer is new characters which looks like a beast. In the original version, Baahubali and his brother do not get along well, but in the trailer of the anime version, the brotherhood between the two is also mentioned. Will they be able to build the brotherhood against the odds?

Baahubali: Crown of Blood Trailer Review:

The anticipated movie trailer released gets mixed reviews from the audiences. The story was released with stunning visuals that did not satisfy all the fans. The story of the 'Crown of Blood' will be different from the Baahubali films the trailer makes sure of it. The background in this version is good.

The characters are identifiable and have similar costumes as in the original version. Both Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty were not found in the trailer. Some fans are not satisfied with the animations as they expect more from the team. The voice in the cartoon version was not good and didn't seem to match the characters. 

Prabhas or Dhoni:

After the release of the trailer video, fans give their reviews in the comment section or through memes. The standout of all comments is on the character Baahubali. Fans started to mention how the look of the lead Baahubali matches M.S. Dhoni more than Prabhas. These comments from fans blow the comment section. 

In this situation, eventually, the question reached Rajamouli to which he answered with a smile, "Like me, the makers of this are also fans of Dhoni."

Baahubali, who is about to be the next king, travels to a neighbouring kingdom, and there he wins the heart of its princess, Devasena, by pretending to be a commoner. Bhalla Deva, who is set to win both the kingdom and the princess from Baahubali, cooks a devious plan with his jealous father.

Baahubali Vs Ponniyin Selvan:

Baahubali and Ponniyin Selvan are different types of historical movies. The movie Ponniyin Selvan was a success and gained a lot of attention from audiences like Baahubali. Ponniyin Selvan directed by Mani Rathnam was a famous Tamil novel with the same title. Even though, Ponniyin Selvan was a good recommendation to watch considering the history, the maximum number of the audience chose Baahubali over Ponniyin Selvan for the action sequences that were fictionalized in the movie.
