August 2022 OTT Release Tamil Movies List

Here comes the list of August 2022 OTT Release Tamil movies. The fans well received the movie that was released in July 2022. Vikram movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, gathered positive reviews on the OTT platform as well. The movie list is big for August, and most theatre movies are released on August 5.

The confirmed OTT Release movies are Kaduva (August 4), Tamil Rockers Web series (August 19), D block (August 1) and Victim (August 5). The other OTT release movie dates are not confirmed.

Kaduva:

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s action entertainer ‘Kaduva’ was released in theatre on July 7. It was a complete action-packed film which was celebrated by Prithviraj fans. It was a 90s-style sway performance from the lead actor. Kaduva is now ready for its OTT release on August 4 on Amazon Prime Video.

Kaduva movie stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Vivek Oberoi, Samyuktha Menon, Arjun Ashokan, Alencier Ley Lopez and Baiju Santhosh.

Tamil Rockers:

Tamil Rockers is a first-ever web series from AVM Productions, directed by Arivazhagan and starring Arun Vijay. This web series will speak about the illegal leaking of movies very soon after their release. Tamil Rockers will be released on August 19.

Victim:

Victim is an action thriller drama movie consisting of four short films directed by Chimbu Devan, M Rajesh, Pa.Ranjith, and Venkat Prabhu. The movie features Prasanna, Amala Paul, Priya Bavani Shankar, Nasser, Thambi Ramaiah, Natraj, Kalaiarasan, Guru Somasundaram, Krish, and others. 

The music for the movie was composed by Sam C S, Premgi, Ganesh Sekar, and Tenma. Victim anthology movie will be released on August 5 in SonyLiv. It is expected that Maayon, Gargi and Yaanai will be released on the OTT Platform this month.
