Boat:

Boat, an upcoming Tamil film set to hit theaters on August 2, 2024, is inspired by real historical events. The movie delves into the lives of various individuals from different backgrounds who find themselves stranded on a boat during the pre-independence era (1943).

The gripping trailer reveals a diverse group of passengers, including a Briton, navigating the sea. They embark on this sea journey to escape the imminent threat of Japanese air raids on Madras (now Chennai). 

Boat Cast And Crew:

The Boat features Yogi Babu, Gouri G. Kishan, M.S. Bhaskar, Chinni Jayanth, Jesse Fox-Allen, Chaams, Madhumitha, Sha Ra, Kollapuli Leela, and Aakshath Das, is produced by Maali and Maanvi Movie Makers in association with Chimbudeven Entertainment. 

The film is brought to life by the creative vision of writer and director Chimbudeven, with Prabha Premkumar and C. Kalaivani serving as producers. The musical score is composed by Ghibran.

Jama:

Jama, an upcoming Tamil drama movie is set to release in theatres on August 2. The movie unfolds the life portrayal of an aspiring drama artist's journey.

This drama delves into the life of an aspiring artist from a  village, showcasing his journey and struggles as he embarks on creating his own "Jama." Central to the story is his determination to succeed despite his challenges, including dressing and performing as a woman. The film explores whether he can achieve his dreams against all odds.

Jama Cast And Crew:

The movie is penned and directed by Pari Elavazhagan and boasts a talented cast including Chetan, Ammu Abhirami, Sri Krishna Dayal, K.V.N. Manimegalai, Kaala Kumar, Vasanth Marimuthu, Jesuraj, S. Sarathi Krishnan, Siva Maran, and A.K. Elavazhagan.  

The legendary Isaignani Ilayaraja provides the musical score, for the movie. Jama is produced by Sai Devanand S, Sasikala S, and Sai Venkateswaran S under SSBV Learn And Teach Production Private Limited.

Kanmani Pappa:

Kanmani Pappa is a horror thriller set in the scenic yet eerie town of Kodaikanal. The story revolves around a family comprising a couple and their young daughter, who move into a haunted house. As they settle in, they begin to experience unsettling supernatural events. 

Adding their fears, their daughter starts communicating with a ghostly presence. The central question of the film is whether the family can survive the horrors of their new home and rescue their daughter from the hold of the ghost.

Kanmani Pappa Cast And Crew:

The film features Thaman Kumar, Miya Sree, Baby Manasvi, Singam Puli, Santhosh Saravanan, Hema, Sivam, and Nagamasi. Produced by SMS Pictures, the movie is directed and written by Sree Mani, with music composed by Sree Sai Dev.

Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan:

 Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan is a gripping thriller about a secret agent who lives under a cover of facelessness. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a woman burdened by debt. Despite his usual detachment, he forms an unlikely bond with her as he helps rescue a stray puppy. 

This newfound connection leads him on a mission to aid her in resolving her financial difficulties, forcing them both into a journey of unexpected challenges and revelations.

Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan Cast And Crew:

Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan starring Vijay Antony, R. Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj, Megha Akash, Daali Dhananjaya, Murali Sharma, Saranya Ponvannan, Pruthvi Ambaar, and Thalaivasal Vijay. 

Directed by Vijay Milton, the film features vibrant music by Achu Rajamani and Vijay Antony. Produced by Infiniti Film Ventures, with Kamal Bohra, D. Lalithaa, B. Pradeep, and Pankaj Bohra overseeing production.

Nanban Oruvan Vantha Piragu:

Nanban Oruvan Vantha Piragu is an upcoming film that centers on Anand, who is on a journey back home to reconnect with his friends. During his travels, Anand reflects on his life through eight distinct chapters and questions himself about what happiness truly means and whether he is truly happy.

Nanban Oruvan Vantha Piragu's cast includes Leela, Kumaravel, Vishalini, Ananth, Bhavani Sre, RJ Vijay, Irfan, Wilspat, Dev, KPY Bala, Poovendhan, and Madan Gowri.

The film is written, directed, and performed by Ananth, with music composed by AH Kaashif. The project is produced by Aishwarya M. and Sudha R., and presented by Venkat Prabhu. The production is a collaborative effort between Masala Popcorn and White Feather Studios.

Pechi:

Pechi is an upcoming horror thriller movie that is set to release in theatres on August 2. A bloodthirsty witch imprisoned in the depths of a sinister forest by a potent spell. Her imprisonment is broken by a series of accidental events, leading her to embark on a relentless and terrifying hunt for the souls of nearby villagers. Driven by an insatiable desire for immortality.

Pechi Cast And Crew:

Pechi movie cast includes Cast Starring Gayathrie Shankar and Bala Saravanan. The film is directed and written by Ramachandran B, Produced by Gokul Benoy and Shaik Mujeeb, with co-production contributions from Vignesh Selvarajan, Dhanishtan Fernando, Rajarajan Gnanasambandam, and Sanjai Shankar. The music for the movie is composed by Rajesh Murugesan. 

Vasco Da Gama:

The Tamil comedy thriller movie "Vasco Da Gama" is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 2. The trailer introduces Nakkhul as a prisoner who makes a deal with a group of inmates to keep drinking and assists the government with money. "Vasco Da Gama" aims to highlight various societal issues in a satirical or ironic manner.
