Anshitha Akbarsha, a television actress from Kerala, entered Bigg Boss Tamil 8 as a contestant. She was also cast in the Tamil Vijay TV reality shows. Her face is familiar to the Tamil audience.

Anshitha Akbarsha made her acting debut in 2019 with the popular Malayalam TV series Kabani (2019). In 2022, she made her Tamil debut with the widely followed serial Chellamma. 

With Chellamma recently concluding, both the lead actors, including Anshitha, have joined Bigg Boss Tamil 8, marking their entry into the reality show. Anshitha also joined as a Comali in Cooku With Comali Season 5. She gets wider attention from the audience following the show.
