The Amaran movie shows the influential story of real-life hero Mukund Varadharaja, an Indian Army Officer who bravely sacrificed his life in the battle against terrorists, Amaran has been generating significant buzz within the Tamil cinema community.

Sivakarthikeyan takes on the role of Mukund Varadharaja, with Sai Pallavai portraying his wife. The film's gripping storyline has captured the imagination of fans, who have been eagerly awaiting updates.

Major Mukund Varadharajan:

Major Mukund Varadharajan, born in 1983 into an Indian Army family,  joined the Indian Army. As an officer in the 44th Battalion of the Rashtriya Rifles, Major Mukund Varadharajan confronted a significant terrorist group whose aim was to annex Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan. 

In a fierce battle, Major Mukund, along with his comrade Vikram, fought bravely against the terrorists, ultimately sacrificing their lives to eliminate the threat. Major Mukund Varadharajan's courage and sacrifice will always stand in Indian history.

The movie Amaran features Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Lallu, and Suresh Chakravarthi in its star-studded cast. It was penned and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan, along with Sony Pictures International Productions and R. Mahendran. The film's musical score was crafted by GV Prakash.
