The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) has announced that Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar planning to compete in the European GT4 Championship in 2025. This created considerable attention from the media and fans.

The chances of Ajith participating in the European GT4 Championship in 2025 went viral on social media. In this case, the ongoing negotiations with teams across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East aim to facilitate his return to professional racing.

Actor Ajith Kumar is a well-known figure in Tamil Cinema and has a strong fanbase for his acting skills. In addition to that Ajith is also known for passion in racing which is seen in his films as he himself does the bike and car stunts scene. So, the news that Ajith Kumar may be returning to racing created a lot of excitement among the fans.

An FMSCI official page quoted in his Instagram page, that Ajith is keen on making a comeback to motor racing. We are currently in discussions with teams in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. There is significant interest from sponsors as well, and we hope to share more updates soon.

Ajith's racing journey began in motorcycles, where he participated in the National Motorcycle Racing Championship. Following intensive training in pro-karts, he advanced to the international scene, competing in the Asian Formula BMW Championship and the British Formula 3 Championship, where he secured podium finishes at Donington Park and Knockhill. He also raced in the FIA Formula 2 Championship.

FMSCI President Akbar Ebrahim, who has mentored Ajith throughout his racing career, expressed his enthusiasm for Ajith’s return, "I’m really happy to hear Ajith is making a comeback to the sport. Sources say, in addition to his racing ambitions, Ajith is also making strides in the motorcycle industry with his startup, Venus Motorcycles, based in Chennai. The company focuses on motorcycle touring and is set to launch its first on-road training session for women this month, led by experienced motorcyclists and trainers. This initiative will kick off in Chennai and expand to multiple cities.
