Aishwarya Rai to be Seen in Totally Different Role in her New Film

When we think of actress Aishwarya Rai we are always reminded about her gorgeous looks. Isn’t it!!

How many of us would have imagined such a beautiful and amazing actress as a villain or in the negative role in a film?  The latest sensational piece of news is actress Aishwarya Rai would be acting in a negative role or as villain in the upcoming film titled 'Ponniyin Selvan' of legendary director Mani Ratnam.

Point is in this upcoming film pretty actress Aishwarya Rai would be playing the role of Nandhini. The film has got remarkable star cast like actor Amitabh Bachchan,Mohan Babu, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Amala Paul, Keerthi Suresh and others. The music for this film ’Ponniyin Selvan’ would be composed by the great A.R. Rahman or ARR.

It must be noted that ARR started his film career with a bang in director Mani Ratnam’s film titled ‘Roja’ and that film was released in the year 1992. The film songs were sensational hits is known. The same combination of Mani Ratnam and ARR combined together for films like Bombay, Thiruda Thiruda etc.

In the year 1997, director Mani Ratnam film titled ‘Iruvar’ hit the theatres with huge expectations. The film had actors like Mohanlal, Prakash Raj etc in marvellous roles. The film ‘Iruvar’ became talk of the town for the fact that it had a beautiful actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai. Acting performances of all the actors were appreciated. That film ’Iruvar’ was actress Aishwarya Rai’s debut film in Tamil language.

The combination of actress Aishwarya Rai and director Mani Ratnam came together in 2010 and gave a film named ‘Raavanan’ is known. Now this upcoming film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ having amazing star cast has raised huge expectations.
