Actor Pratap Pothen Passes Away At Chennai Due To Ill Health

Malayalam Actor and director Pratap Pothen passed away due to ill health. Prathap Bothan has directed films including My Dear Marthandan and Chaitanya. Pratap Bothan has acted in over 100 Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films.

Pratap Pothen  Tamil direction movies are Jeeva, Vetri Vizha, My Dear Marthandan, Chaitanya, Magudam, Athma, Seeevalaperi Pandi and Lucky Man. He has been in the supporting roles inPonmagal Vandhal, Tughlaq Durbar, Remo, Poojai, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, Kumali From Nadukkaveri, Alex Pandian, Aayirathil Oruvan, Padikathavan and many other Tamil movies. His role in Dhanush's Padikathavan movie gained more attention as a strict father.

More than Tamil cinema, Pratap Pothen was active in Malayalam and has directed and acted in many Malayalam movies. His death is a huge loss to the Indian Film Industry.
