A2D Nandha a well-known YouTuber responds to scam accusations from Jason Samuel and Sid Frequency. This video over the grey market spread virally on social media with diverse opinions from the viewers.

A2D Nandha:

A2D Nandha, a popular Tamil YouTuber known for his tech reviews under the name PC Doctor, currently came to the spotlight following accusations of promoting illegitimate software keys. The scandal was exposed by fellow tech YouTuber Jason Samuel who stated about Nandha's alleged connection to a grey market website, cdkeylabs.com.

Accusations Against A2D Nandha:

The YouTuber Jason Samuel exposed A2D Nandha for promoting cdkey, a site offering software keys at heavily discounted prices ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹1,500 that compared to the legitimate ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 pricing from Microsoft.

Samuel planned to uncover the truth, purchased a key from the website, and discovered that the transaction was linked to a name, “Gopinath Sekar,” who turned out to be a business manager at Nuke Technologies Pvt Ltd.

Further investigation revealed that Nuke Technologies, co-directed by A2D Nandha and Vigneshwara Karthikeyan, was connected to the very site where Samuel had purchased the key. To make matters more serious, the registered address of Nuke Technologies matched that of Nandha’s A2D Channel, revealing that he is involved in promoting questionable software keys.

A2D Nandha's Response:

In a recent video, Nandha addressed the accusations, claiming that cdkey has sponsored his channel for over six years and that other Tamil tech YouTubers had also partnered with the site without major complaints.

According to Nandha, retailers like cdkeylabs often purchase keys in bulk from OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) like Microsoft at discounted rates and resell them at lower prices. However, he acknowledged that the source of these keys might be questionable possibly "stolen" or "recycled from old computers."

Despite claiming that no customers had complained about receiving faulty keys in the six years of collaboration with cdkeylabs.com, Nandha admitted that he had not previously disclosed his involvement with the site, which he said was a mistake.

He argued that this was not a scam because customers were receiving the keys they ordered, though he did not clarify the ethical concerns about where those keys were sourced from.

He contacted CD Keys regarding this and they provided him with documents which is not asked to disclose to the public but with the mentioned link he shows his viewers the mention of Microsoft partner in it. Nandha also acknowledges that what he did was against what he had preached.

A2D On Lawyer's Video:

A2D Nandha also responded to accusations made by Sid, a lawyer who had criticized him for supporting Dayalu Designs. Nandha stated that he had initially supported Dayalu Designs based on the accusations related to Dayalu's dressing sense and business details, but later regretted it after learning more about the situation. He emphasized that he had removed his video in support of Dayalu Designs after becoming aware of further legal issues.

Regarding Sid’s accusations about Nandha not providing a tax invoice for a promotion, Nandha explained that he had never explicitly mentioned Dayalu Designs in his content and had provided the GST number for the business.

He also said that he did not make a video about Sindinga9, a legal issue that Sid had raised, because their audiences were different, and he believed that legal actions were the proper course.

In the end, Nandha took responsibility for his actions, saying that he would stand with Sid if legal steps were taken. However, he did not offer a formal apology, and move forward.

Viewer Reactions:

While some viewers appreciated Nandha’s admission of fault and his decision to take responsibility for his actions, many others were not satisfied with the lack of a direct apology. His use of a black background and dark clothing instead of his usual yellow hoodie led some to believe his tone was strategic and disconnected from the genuine remorse they expected.
