For the first time, around 200 tribal women from 16 villages organized by Anubhuti came together in Maharashtra to watch Vikram's Thangalaan movie. They were seen celebrating Thangalaan in the theaters.

Thangalaan Movie:

Thangalaan, directed by Pa. Ranjith,  is inspired by real-life events at the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) and explores the struggles of the tribal community against British colonial forces.

The movie, whose title translates to "Son of Gold," is a blend of historical events with fantastical elements, highlighting the community's fight to protect their land and resources.

The story revolves around the brave efforts to safeguard the precious gold from British colonizers, exploring themes of ambition, rivalry, and the relentless pursuit of power. Will Thangalaan be able to save the KGF from the Britishers? is the rest of the story.

Despite receiving an above-average response from general audiences, the screening for the tribal women stands out as a significant and celebratory moment, reflecting the film's cultural impact and resonance with the communities it represents.
